Physical activity is crucial for children’s overall health and well-being,

GMS understands that a fit and healthy child is a happy and content child.

AFTER SCHOOL KARATE

Green Meadows Budo Akademi was established in July 2009 with the purpose of teaching traditional Okinawan Karate Do to the students of our School.
The style of Karate that we teach and practice is called Goju Ryu, which is one of the oldest traditional styles of Okinawan Karate.
Our Dojo is affiliated to Yudansha Kobujitsu Karate Do Federation ( India ), which is headed by Shihan Jehangir Shroff, 6th Dan Black Belt.
The main Instructor at our Dojo is Sensei Floyyd Casper, 4th Dan Black Belt, who has been with the Dojo since it’s inception.
Karate represents the perfect fusion of science and art, coming together to transform the student. It is a highly challenging method of conditioning the body, cultivating the mind and nurturing the spirit.
A time honoured practice, the art is also a unique pathway to self discovery. Practicing the art brings discipline, focus, resilience and the obvious physical well being. Training together in the Dojo creates bonds of friendship and team spirit. Practising the art of Karate Do links us inconspicuously to it’s past.
By training together we honour it’s cultural impact; the coming together of like minded souls to foster a spirit of sharing knowledge and working together for a healthier world.
We accept students from the age of 6 yrs and above. Our classes are conducted at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Class timings are:
Beginners and Junior Belts – 3.45 pm – 5 pm
Higher Belts and seniors.    – 5.30 pm – 7 pm
