"The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows" – Sydney J. Harris
Being a proud principal of Green Meadows School, I can say that the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual wellbeing of the students is our primary concern. We pride ourselves on nurturing the students to grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation.
It has been our endeavor at Green Meadows School to imbibe in our students' Life skills- based education that focuses on cultivating personal life skills such as self - reflection, critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills to produce a well informed and emotionally sound generation. To meet this goal, we have been using modern teaching-learning methods (including TATA Edge Smart Classrooms). Our focus and resolve remain the same, though our delivery has shifted to the online mode during the pandemic.
COVID-19, an unprecedented global pandemic and its fallout, needs no introduction. Students, their parents, and educators around the world are feeling the extraordinary ripple effect of the novel coronavirus as schools have shut down, and quarantine methods are being enforced to cope with the global pandemic.
As it is very rightly said by Winston Churchill, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste.” It is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.
We invested in equipment & training of teachers to help in delivering classes through online mode ( Google Classrooms). We at Green Meadows School have jointly put in all the resources and sincere efforts to help everyone in providing quality education for all, even in these exceptional times. Teachers at GMS deserve recognition as they have exhibited remarkable resilience, sacrifice, and commitment in reaching out to the students.
At Green Meadows, education is not merely the learning of concepts. Fundamentally, it ensures that the values are imparted to all students so that we have ethical and responsible citizens in our society. We know value-based education is a threefold development of any child, and Education at GMS tries to develop three aspects: physique, mentality, and character. Even though physique and attitude are essential, they are menaces without the third because the character is the greatest of these, and we make sure that GMS students reflect strong character.
We are proud and privileged that you have chosen Green Meadows School to be a part of your child’s journey towards a great future.
We strongly believe that learning like success is a journey, not a destination.
Warm regards
Ms. Kiranjeet Sodhi
